Oasis' 1994 single 'Live Forever' has been named as the greatest pop track to come out of Manchester. The song beat songs by The Stone Roses and The Smiths in the Virgin Radio poll.

Wonderwall has been named the best song of the decade in a poll. The poll was commissioned by UK radio station Virgin to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Second was The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony.

Liam Gallagher has written a song about experiences in a German jail last December for the next Oasis album. The song is titled "They Ain't Got Nothing on Me, They Ain't Got Nothing on You."

Liam and Noel made guest appearances at the Richard Ashcroft-headlined Teenage Cancer Trust concert lastnight. Liam performed 'Songbird' and was cheered off stage by chanting fans.
Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller and Roger Daltrey kicked the night off performing Oasis B-side 'Talk Tonight' The Who classic 'Magic Bus' and The Jams 'Butterfly Collector'.
Also performing was Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones and the night was rounded off with a 17 song set by Ashcroft.

Ryan Adams has officially recorded Wonderwall ready for his next album. The cover is basically the same lyrics, but sung slower and in a different key. Its been a favourite in many of his live shows, so we look forward to hearing the studio version.

Lastnights Dublin gig saw the introduction of Songbird into the setlist. It also saw the return of old favourites like 'Bring It On Down' and 'Rock N Roll Star'. Plus the wonderful 'Champagne Supernova'.
By accounts it was a top gig, but then again; Oasis gigs always are. I looking forward to hearing the bootleg of this one.
